We are now looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Norway, Oslo region who wants to work with modular design from concept to production. The role involves advanced 3D design, technical problem-solving, and close collaboration with production, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
You will primarily work in Inventor, developing modular power and energy solutions for offshore, marine, and land-based industries. The work includes integrating heavy and sensitive equipment within constrained space and weight requirements.
Responsibilities:
Concept development and 3D design of modules and mechanical solutions
Creation of models, drawings, and bills of materials
Technical responsibility for mechanical deliverables in projects
Follow-up of manufacturing and assembly
Participation in product development and improvement of existing solutions
Qualifications:
Relevant technical education
At least 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering
Experience from multidisciplinary projects
Strong skills in Inventor/Vault or similar 3D and PDM systems
Good proficiency in Swedish and English
Experience from offshore, modular design, or expertise in welding, NDT, or materials engineering is considered a merit. We also value experience in a lead role.
